Hi Thea, can't find another way to contact you. Returned from Camino 20th June, a wonderful experience would like to return sometime but start in France at Le Puy to extend the walking..
I met two French sisters, possibly twins, dwho seemed to be making a return trip to the Camino. They are in their 60's I believe),and wonder if they are the pair that appear in your book. I met up with them on two occasions and as we did not have any common language communication was difficult. They giggled, talked and laughed together constantly - does this ring a bell.

Also, while I was out of the loop Taxiing and busing as a result of a bad chest, my travelling companion Lesley, along with South African Camino friends, tried to visit Gordon Bell but found the place shut up. What has happened there? that would be approximately 3 - 5 th June 2010

Good luck with your book Thea! I'm sure it will sell well in Spain as there are not many English camino stories available in Spanish bookshops. A bookshop owner in Pamplona told me that over 400 camino pilgrims books had been published between June 2008 and May 2009 so there is obviously a market for them.
I have a post on my blog featuring 101 camino books.

I hope you put this book on Amazon, and sell it as a eBook. I need to read this story and one of these I need to walk the Camino de Santiago myself. This would be my greatest journey to date. Thank you so much for your writing this story. So many of us need to hear this! God bless... CatherineTodd2@gmail.com

Thank you Thea, reading Buen Camino cleared up any doubts in my mind about going. It may have been the combination of boots and dress that Ana wore at the start that appealed to me. Good to talk to you, we will look out for your friends refugio in April on our way, great to know the book is so grounded in fact and experience.

Thea -I just want to say thank you for your wonderful story about Ana and Richard. I only wish I had known about it before I did the Camino last year. I loved Buen Camino and thought your descriptions of the journey - both physically in terms of the landscape and the body as well as emotionally - were extremely good. Had I read the book before I did the trail, I would very much have liked to follow in Ana's footsteps and visit all the spots she goes to in the book. I guess the good thing about reading the book after the trail was that I had a chance to return there without having to leave my house! Thanks again.
